Paper Submission Guidelines

The Asia-Pacific Aerospace Science & Engineering Symposium(APASE) 2026 will be published by IOP in the open access Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS). The registration fee includes the publication of one paper. All papers submitted will undergo a peer-review process. Submission accepted for contributed orals and posters have an 8-page limit. References are not included in the page limit.

Full details of the author publication guidelines for JPCS can be found here. The following lists the essential requirements for an article to be published in an IOP: Conference Series journal:

• •the page size should be A4
• •each page should have clear margins of 4cm (top), 2.5cm (left and right) and 2.7cm (bottom)
• •pages should not contain page numbers, running heads or footlines
• •all articles must contain an abstract
• •in the PDF, all fonts should be embedded

The IOP Conference Series template is mandatory for submission. It can be found below:

Ensure that within the template, all other JPCS formatting rules are still followed. The paper should be submitted as an editable and not password protected PDF.

It is important to ensure that when you submit your paper, it is in its final form ready for publication, and has been thoroughly proofread. IOP do not copy edit or reformat papers and will not send out author proofs prior to publication. Post-publication changes are not permitted, so please ensure that your paper has been checked for errors.
